Description

These are a group of three mid-to-late 18th-century cottages located on Collins Square. They have hipped roofs of a medium pitch, now covered with renewed pantiles that sweep down to the first-floor level at the rear. Each cottage is two storeys high with one window. The walls are red brick up to the weatherboarding. The windows are a mix of sash windows and early 19th-century casements, all set in flush moulded frames. The doors are plank and are covered by flat, bracketed hoods. Number 1 is connected to the rear section of number 47 Tranquil Vale. Numbers 1 to 3 form a group with numbers 45 to 47 Tranquil Vale.
