Description

This is a row of six cottages located on St John's Green. Numbers 39, 41, 43, and 45 date from the late 18th century and are rendered. Numbers 47 and 49 were built in the early 19th century and are constructed of red brick. Each cottage is two storeys high and features a single window with sash glazing bars. All have panelled doors set within plain door cases. The roofs are tiled. The cottages occupy an important position on the green and form a group.
