Description
St John's Green Primary School was built in 1898 by Goodey and Cressall. It is constructed of red brick and features a tiled roof, with two and three storeys. The front of the building has two plain gables and higher end pavilions that have Dutch gables. There is a tower on the north side with a steep roof topped by a bell-turret. The north side has three gables, while the rear is plainer. The front of the school is comparable to the Wilson Marriage School on Barrack Street.
