Description
No. 135 is a mid-19th century house located on Lee Park, SE3. This three-storey building with a basement features two windows and a slightly set-back entrance bay with one window on the right. It has a fairly low-pitched hipped slate roof with an eaves soffit over the main block. The right bay includes a cornice and parapet, along with an architrave band that runs continuously with the second-floor cill band of the main block. The house is constructed of multicoloured stock brick with a stuccoed front.
The second-floor sash windows have plain reveals with vertical bars, while the first-floor sash windows and ground-floor casement windows have moulded architraves. The ground floor windows also feature a bracketed cornice and pediment, along with projecting cills that have cast iron guards. There are blind cases on the ground floor as well.
Access to the porch is via eight steps with curved side walls, leading to a porch that has bound inner columns and square outer columns, a mutule cornice, and a blocking course. The entrance includes a four-panel door with a plain rectangular fanlight.
No. 135 is part of a group with Nos. 119 to 143 (odd).
