Description
No 266 Dacre Park is an early 19th-century house that stands three storeys tall with a basement and features three windows. It is one of a pair of houses, with the other one having undergone significant alterations. The left entrance bay is set back from the main facade. The building is constructed of yellow stock brick and includes a stucco frieze, cornice, and blocking course, as well as a cill band at the first floor. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged, flat brick arches. The ground floor windows are set in round arched recesses and feature stucco impost blocks, resting on stuccoed basements. There are blind cases in the two right bays. Access is provided by four new steps leading to a four-panel door, which is topped by a rectangular fanlight with margin lights. A later trellis porch has been added. Nos 258 to 266 (even) form a group.
