Description

This is an early to mid-19th century pair of buildings located on Dacre Park. Each building is two storeys high with an attic and basement, and features a central block with a single window beneath a pediment, alongside a slightly recessed side entrance bay with a cornice and blocking course. The buildings are constructed of multicoloured stock brick with a stuccoed front; number 111 has a later roughcast finish. Pilasters support the entablature, which has a plain frieze. Capitals to the pilasters and the architrave of the entablature are missing from number 111. Sash windows with glazing bars are present, with number 113's windows featuring console bracketed cornices. The windows within the pediment are round-arched with moulded architraves. The front doors are composed of two long panels, each with a rectangular fanlight. A prostyle Ionic porch is attached to number 113. Numbers 111 to 121 (the odd numbers) are considered a group.
