Description

Gothic Lodge is a building from the later 19th century, designed in the Gothic style. It stands two storeys high with gabled attics. The main symmetrical section facing Barston Road features three bays, each containing two windows, along with a projecting central bay. The roof is slated, and the gables have fretted barge-boards and finials. The windows are stucco arched sash types with dripmoulds. The central bay includes return and entrance facades with splayed ground floor bay windows. The entrance is marked by a gabled porch, which also has a fretted bargeboard and finial, leading to an arched doorway that features a fanlight and a panelled door.
