Description

The Tomb of M.Z. Michalinos is located near the west corner of the Greek Burial Ground in West Norwood Memorial Park. This Grade II listed classical stele dates from around 1911 and is made of marble. It features a rectangular plan kerbing and an inscribed base that supports a relief stele. The relief is carved with two figures dressed in classical garments; one figure is seated with their head resting on their hand, while the other is holding and opening a box. The stele is topped with a pedimented head that includes antefixae.
