Description

The tomb of Dudley and Giulia Sheridan is located in the Greek Burial Ground of West Norwood Memorial Park and dates from around 1862, with the designer unknown. It is a chest tomb made of marble, featuring a rectangular stepped base. The tomb has clasping columns at the corners, topped with anthemion dies. The long sides display carved relief panels, one depicting a figurative scene, while the other showcases a portrait medallion supported by two winged sphinxes, adorned with wheat and fruit.
