Description
Gresham Lodge is an early to mid 19th-century, two-storey villa located on the south side of Brixton Water Lane. It features a three-window front and is constructed of Portland stone, topped with a hipped slated roof that has an eaves soffit. There are added two-storey sections with one window on either side of the main structure. The first floor has later sash windows, while the ground floor showcases original transomed casements beneath console bracketed cornices. The entrance includes a five-panel door framed by reeded pilasters and a head, topped with a rectangular fanlight, all set within a Doric porch that has fluted columns and an enriched entablature.
