Description
56 and 58 Brixton Water Lane is an early to mid-19th century pair of houses, each two storeys high with three windows. They are constructed of stucco with incised lines and feature separate low-pitched pyramidal roofs covered with slate. The chimney is located in the valley between the two roofs. Each house retains its original casement windows, with those on the ground floor including transoms and margin lights. The entrance features six-panel doors with rectangular fanlights, set within wooden prostyle porches.
