Description
About 90 metres of wall is located on the west side of the path off Hill Path, between the grid references TQ 30917106 and TQ 30897115. This tall 18th-century wall is constructed of pinkish brick, which slopes into the coping and features tapered buttresses, built in English bond. At the northern end, the wall turns west for about 18 yards. This section has a 17th-century appearance, is very tall, and includes arched drain openings in the plinth. There is also a tall, stone-coped pier at the angle. The wall is made of bright red brick with some blue headers, arranged in an indeterminate bond.
