Description

The building comprises ornamental cast iron gates, gate piers, and flanking walls at the main entrance to St Michael's Convent. The central double gates and the side single gates are hung from rusticated stucco piers, with the side piers topped by urn finials. The central piers are taller, featuring lampholders and crowns at their summits. Curved quadrant walls extend outwards to the outer flanking piers.
