Description

The entrance gates at St Michael's Church are constructed with gate piers made of squared rubble, featuring stone tabling and peaked cemented rubble coping. The gates are paired cast iron with arrow finials and a dog-rail that also has similar finials, with bracing above. There is a large rectangular mounting-block made of rubble, which has a hollow interior covered by a mix of thick long stone slabs and thinner slate slabs. The mounting-block includes two steps at the northern end.
