Description

About 95 metres of wall is located on the south side of the path, between the grid references TQ 30897115 and TQ 30817116. The lower parts of the wall date from the 17th century and feature arched drain openings in the plinth. It is constructed of red brick, with some blue headers and an indeterminate bond. The upper part was possibly rebuilt in the early 19th century, incorporating stock brick buttresses. The western end of the wall is made of pinkish brick.
