9/78 Wall forming south- 19.7.82 east boundary of Church Street, from vehicle entrance of no. 84, Church Street, to vehicle entrance of no. 2, Church Green (formerly listed as Wall to north east of Coggeshall House)

Wall. C18. Red bricks and lime mortar in English and Flemish bond. Approximately 60 metres long, height varying from 2 metres at the NE end to 3.50 metres at the SW end. Chamfered plinth. English bond to a height of approximately 1.50 metres, Flemish bond above, in finer bricks. Triangular coping bricks. 2 short sections near the SW end have been raised approximately 0.50 metre in the C19 to form lean-to buildings to the SE.
