Description
This is an early to mid-19th century terrace of six properties, numbered 188 to 194, on Camberwell New Road. Each property is three storeys high with a basement, and has two windows. The buildings are constructed of stock brick with a stucco cornice and blocking course. The ground floor of number 190 and number 192 have been stuccoed, as have all of the basements. A horizontal band marks the level of the first-floor window sills. The windows are sash windows, mostly featuring margin lights, set within gauged brick arches on the ground floor, which are recessed. There are eight steps leading to four-panel doors at numbers 190 and 192, though these have been altered. These doors are framed by narrow reeded pilasters, a corniced head, and a plain fanlight. Number 192 has been fitted with modern mosaic trim, but it is included in the listing for its contribution to the group value of the terrace.
