Description
This is an 1825 terrace of houses located on the south side of Camberwell New Road. It comprises numbers 64 to 76 (even). Each house has a basement and three storeys, with two windows facing the street. The terrace is built of stock brick, with a stucco frieze, cornice, and blocking course, rising to a central peak displaying the date 1825. The ground floor is finished with banded, rusticated stucco to resemble voussoirs surrounding round-arched openings. The upper floors incorporate gauged flat brick window arches. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars on the ground and second floors, while the first floor windows are long casements with decorative iron balconies shaped like anthemiums. Ground floor windows are set within round-arched recesses. Each house has a door consisting of three ornamental panels, a cornice above, and a patterned fanlight.
