Description

14 Kings Avenue is a mid-19th century villa of three storeys and a basement, featuring three windows. The side elevations are of stock brick, while the front is of greyish brick. The villa has a moderately low-pitched hipped slated roof with chimneys at each end, and an eaves soffit with large dentils above a stuccoed frieze. The ground floor is stuccoed and banded, with rusticated quoins. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within moulded architraves; the first floor has cornices and bracketed cills. A set of seven steps leads to a projecting porch with a round central arch and side arches recessed to accommodate key blocks which support a cornice and blocking course. Panelled pilasters and impost blocks are present at the arches.
