Description

This is a villa dating from around 1860, likely built by Henry Harris. It is three storeys high with a basement, and has three windows across the front. The sides are of red stock brick, while the front is grey brick. The roof is a moderately low pitch, covered in slate, with end chimneys and eaves soffits featuring large dentils above a stuccoed frieze. The upper windows are sash windows with glazed bars within moulded architraves. The first floor has cornices and bracketed cills. The ground floor has casement windows set within banded, stuccoed brickwork, featuring rusticated quoins. A ten-step approach leads to a four-panel door, flanked by side lights and surmounted by a rectangular fanlight, all within a projecting classical porch with round-arched openings.
