Description
No. 72 Park Hill is an early to mid 19th century villa that stands two storeys tall with a basement and features three windows. The building is constructed of painted brick and includes a stucco frieze, a dentil cornice, and a parapet with three balustraded sections. The basement is also stuccoed. The villa has sash windows with glazing bars set in moulded architraves, which have bracketed cills and cornices above on the ground floor. Access is provided by five stone steps leading to an ornamental four-panel door that has a cornice head and a rectangular fanlight, all within a projecting enclosed classical stucco porch. To the right of the villa is a two-storey coach house extension, built slightly later, which features three first floor windows, with the central one being tripartite, and carriage doors below.
