Description
No. 166 Tulse Hill is an early to mid-19th century villa that stands two storeys tall with a basement and features three windows. The exterior is finished in stucco with incised lines. It has a low-pitched hipped roof covered with slate, which includes eaves soffits supported by long brackets. The villa has sash windows set within moulded architraves. Access is provided by eight replaced steps leading to a half-glazed four-panel door, which is adorned with reeded pilasters, a cornice head, and a plain fanlight. This door is framed by a wooden Ionic prostyle porch that has square columns. The building is noted for its prominent corner position.
