Description
This is an early 19th-century pair of buildings located on Harleyford Road. Each building is two storeys high with a basement and originally had two windows. The buildings are constructed of stock brick with a parapet; the basement and a band above the ground floor are stuccoed. The ground floor has elliptical arched openings, and the brick arches are gauged, flat on the first floor, over the door and windows. Number 15 features sash windows, while Number 17 has later casement windows. There are six steps leading to the doors, which are panelled and include engaged fluted columns, a cornice head, and a wide fanlight; the fanlight of Number 17 is patterned. Wrought iron handrails and area railings with spearhead standards are present. Number 17 has a slated mansard roof with later dormers. The buildings are included in the list for their group value.
