Description
This is an early to mid-19th century pair of buildings located on Harleyford Road. Each building is two storeys high with a basement, and features two windows. The outer entrance bay is slightly set back. The buildings are constructed of stock brick with a stuccoed basement, and have an impost band, a frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course which rises to a slight peak in the centre. A recess is located on the central axis. The window arches are made of gauged brick, with rounded arches on the first floor set within round-arched recesses. The entrances have six-panel doors, framed by fluted engaged columns, a cornice head, and a patterned radial fanlight, and are approached by five steps. Tall cast iron hand and area railings are also present.
