Description

This is a group of six early to mid-19th century villas, numbered 1 to 7, forming part of Stockwell Park Crescent. Each villa is two storeys high with a basement, and originally had three windows, although numbers 1 and 3 have had an additional bay added to the left. The villas are constructed of stock brick with a stuccoed basement, a decorative frieze, cornice, and blocking course. They feature sash windows, mostly with glazing bars, set within moulded architraves. The ground floor windows have a frieze, cornice, and apron panel. Some cast iron window guards are present. A set of seven steps leads to a half-glazed, studded, four-panel door which is set back behind an entablature surround with a blocking course. The cornice has been lost from number 1.
