Description

This is an early to mid-19th century pair of buildings located on the south side of Camberwell New Road. Each building is three storeys high with a basement, and originally had two windows. The buildings are constructed of stock brick, with a recessed section along the central axis. They feature stucco detailing, consisting of a frieze, cornice, and blocking course, as well as a first-floor cill band. The windows have gauged flat brick arches and stucco-lined reveals. The upper-floor windows are sash windows; the first-floor windows are long casements with ornamental cast iron balconies. There are eight and two steps, with outer brick walls, leading to a four-panel door, which has narrow pilasters, a corniced head, and a plain fanlight.
