20, Holland Park W11

No. 20 Holland Park is a detached house built in 1862, constructed of stucco. It stands three storeys high, with an attic and basement, and features a symmetrical design with three bays. The ground floor has channelling, and there are steps leading to a central entrance with an altered doorway. Above the steps is a wrought and cast iron glazed canopy. On either side of the entrance, there are two-storey canted bay windows, each adorned with Corinthian pilasters on the upper storey. The outer windows on the second floor also have pilasters. A small balustraded balcony is present at the central window, and a rich cornice runs along the top. The balustraded parapet includes three dormers, with the outer two being pedimented and the inner one featuring chimney outlets. Additionally, there are cast iron balconies on the ground floor. This house is part of the planned layout of Holland Park.
