Description
Nos 15, 16, and 17 Chesham Place are a row of stuccoed houses dating from the early to mid 19th century. They rise three storeys with an attic and a basement. The ground floor features channelled stucco. Each house has a projecting porch, with Nos 16 and 17 having Ionic columns and No 15 featuring fluted Doric columns. All three houses are three windows wide and have window architraves with cornices on the first floor. No 17 has a later two-storey canted bay window. The buildings are topped with a dentil cornice and a balustraded parapet, except for No 17, which has a return facade to the left. There are cast iron balconies on the first floor and area railings. The row is listed mainly for its group value with the rest of Chesham Place.
