Description
No. 158 Liverpool Road is a terraced house with a shop on the ground floor, likely built around 1805. The building is constructed of yellow brick arranged in Flemish bond, and its roof is obscured by a parapet. It stands three storeys tall and features a two-window range. The ground floor has a 19th-century shop front, which includes a flat-arched entrance to the right with an overlight, panelled shutters covering the shop window, and a fascia and cornice above. The upper windows are flat-arched with gauged brick heads, and there is a parapet with stacks on the party wall. The interior reportedly retains some panelling, a dog-leg stair with turned newels, stick balusters, and a boarded dado.
