Description
No. 8 Moorfields is a terraced house with a later shop, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of yellow stock brick and has three storeys plus a cellar. The building features two windows. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front designed in a Regency style, complete with reeded architraves around the entrance and window. The windows above have gauged brick flat arches and are fitted with 20th-century transom and mullion casements that include glazing bars. The first floor windows are set in shallow round-arched recesses, and the building is topped with a parapet.
