Description
No. 31, Neal Street is a terraced house and shop, likely dating from the early 18th century and restored in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of yellow stock brick and comprises four storeys and a basement. It has two windows. A 20th-century shopfront replaces an earlier one. The house doorway features a patterned radial fanlight above a fielded six-panel door. Recessed sash windows have gauged flat brick arches and 19th-century glazing bars. A continuous workshop window of three lights is located on the third floor, set beneath a segmental arch. The building is topped with a restored parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
