Description

Albion Lodge is a single house built in the early to mid 19th century. The building is finished in stucco and has a slate roof. It features a side hall entrance and stands two storeys high with an attic, comprising a three-window range. The ground floor is rusticated stucco with round-arched openings that have radiating heads designed to mimic voussoirs, and there are cast iron guards on the recessed sash windows. To the left, there is a square-headed doorway, likely a later replacement, which has a new panelled door and a plain rectangular overlight.

The first floor is plain stucco with a storey band and square-headed architraved sash windows, all of which include narrow panelled aprons and fluted lugs. A plain cornice band runs along the top, and there is a stuccoed parapet with acroteria. Flanking the central panel is a diamond pattern balustrade inscribed with 'Albion Lodge'. The roof is gambrel-shaped, covered in slate, and features a pair of dormers. A chimney stack is located at the eastern end wall.
