Description
75 Lower Redland Road is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of stucco with coped gables and gable stacks, topped by a slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall with a three-window range. The front is nearly symmetrical, featuring a banded ground floor and moulded parapet coping. The doorway, located slightly right of centre, has a moulded architrave, an overlight, and a two-panel door. There are paired windows on the left side, with the ground floor window set in an arched recess; both have architraves and second-floor sill blocks, with 2/2-pane sashes. A full-width cast-iron balcony on the first floor, supported by brackets, features decorative foliate railings and a tented roof also on brackets. The interior has not been inspected.
