Terraced houses. 1846-7. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond, stucco, roofs obscured by parapet. Three storeys over basement, two windows each. Basement stuccoed. Steps up to round-arched entrance with moulded stucco architrave having pilasters and archivolt, the doorcase set in a further recessed arch with pilaster jambs and cornice, fanlight; no 21 has side entrance and one-window range in Coombs Street. All windows are flat-arched with moulded stucco architrave, sill band to first floor. 6/6 sashes of original design to no 21 (ground floor) in Remington Street. Stucco cornice and blocking course above second-floor windows. Stacks to party walls. Cast-iron railings to steps and area. (Eric Willatts: Streets with a story.
