Description
Nos 47 and 49 on North Road in Highgate are late 18th century houses that have been converted into two dwellings. They are three storeys tall and feature four windows. The buildings are constructed of stock brick and have a stone-coped parapet, giving them tall proportions. The recessed sash windows, which include glazing bars, are topped with gauged flat brick arches. The entrance to No 47 has a 19th century door with two fielded panels, a cornice head, and a blocked fanlight, all set within a reproduction pedimented doorcase. No 49 features a modern six-panel door with a cornice head and a blocked fanlight, also under a round gauged brick arch.
