Description

Nos 27 and 29 on North Road are a pair of 18th-century cottages, each two stories high with an attic and two windows. They feature a high-pitched roof covered with modern clay tiles, which includes two flat dormers. The cottages are constructed of yellow brick and have a parapet. The first-floor sash windows, which have glazing bars, are adorned with gauged flat brick arches. On the ground floor, there are double oriel shop windows with small panes, and each cottage has a central Gothic door. Nos 27 to 43 (odd) form a group.
