Description
Slingley and Westview are a pair of mid-19th century houses, now part of Channing House School, located on Highgate Hill in North London. Each house is three storeys tall with a basement and features three windows. Number 122 has an additional two-storey bay on the left side. The buildings are constructed of stock brick and have a stucco cornice and blocking course. Both houses have slated mansard roofs, each with two round-headed dormers. The central recess is aligned on the axis, while the outer bays are slightly set back. The ground floor and basement are finished in banded stucco, with segment-headed windows on the ground floor. The windows are adorned with gauged brick arches, flat on the second floor and round on the first, and feature sash windows with margin lights. Number 120 has a door with six fielded panels and a plain fanlight, while number 122 has a four-panel door with a patterned segmental fanlight.
