Description

These are a semi-detached pair of houses dated to the 1840s, located on Hatton Road in Cheshunt. They are built of yellow stock brick with slate roofing to number 45 and modern tiles to number 43. The houses have stucco dressings and porches. They are two storeys high, with a floor band running around the building. The main part of the front has four windows, while the recessed end bays have one window each. The windows are set within architrave surrounds. The porches feature Greek Doric pilasters and a full entablature. Similar pilastered surrounds are present to the ground floor of the recessed bays. Number 45 retains its original vertically hung sash windows, while number 43 has modern casements.
