Description
No. 19 Hatton Road is an early 19th century house, with some features dating to around 1860, set back from the road. It is constructed of yellow stock brick and has a slate roof, with the west side finished in stucco. The east elevation facing the garden has four windows and includes a recessed bay to the left of center, which was originally an early 19th century cottage and features a first-floor 6/6-pane sash window. The house was extended to the north and south, adding three ground floor canted bay windows adorned with scrolls and cornices. There is also an ornate open-gable door porch with a pierced, wavy-edged bargeboard and finials at the ends. The first-floor sash windows are supported by sill consoles, and the building has deep plain eaves.
