Description

Albion Place is an 18th-century terrace of three cottages, originally four, located on the north side of Church Lane in Cheshunt. The cottages are constructed of red brick with an old tile roof and yellow stock brick chimneys. A floor band runs horizontally around the building. The design is two storeys high. The ground-floor windows have segmental heads, arranged alternately wide and narrow. The first-floor openings have wide architraves. Most of the windows are replacements, consisting of sash windows or small-pane windows. An original six-fielded-panel door is present at No. 9, and No. 7 has a recessed sash window on the ground floor dating from the 19th century.
