Description
The retaining wall along Highgate Hill, located between the street pavement and the higher paved walk that leads to numbers 104 to 110 (even) and "The Cottage" as well as houses further west, is likely from the 18th century. This wall is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features wrought iron railings above, which are probably from the 19th century. Additionally, there are Portland stone blocks inserted at intervals in the top courses of the wall.
