Description
Cedar House is a late 18th-century pair of houses located on Chiswick Mall, W4. The building is constructed of brown brick and stands three stories tall. It features three double-hung sash windows set in reveals, each topped with rubbed flat arches. There are bands at the floor levels. To the left, Swan House has a recessed three-story wing, with a one-story addition made recently, which includes an arched doorway with a fanlight. The adjoining premises have a bow on the east elevation, but all windows on the ground and first floors are blocked, and the remaining windows are modern. Both houses have one dormer and a parapet, topped with a machine tile roof. Cedar House is part of a group that includes Swan House, Island House, Norfolk House, a garden wall, and railings to Island House and Norfolk House, as well as St John's House.
