TQ 2379 and TQ 28 SW STERNE STREET 4/101 and 1/31 Nos 33-35 (odd) GV II

Semi-detached pair of cottages 1922-23. Designed by George Walton. Brick, rendered to upper storey; low pitched hipped slate roof to deep eaves 2 storeys. Each cottage of 5 windows wide, of irregular widths, the outer three grouped as a triplet with narrow lights flanking a wider central window. Square headed windows with metal frames and glazing bars, and small panes. Square headed entrances with rectangular fanlights, placed adjacent to inside bay of each house; timber doors. A rare late work by Walton.
