Description
The Sunday School, located to the north of the United Reformed Church on Lower Clapton Road, is a T-shaped building dating from around 1870. It features arms extending to the east and a canted bay at the west end. The structure is one storey high with a tall basement, constructed of ashlar stonework. The ground floor is characterized by deep close-set arcading, reflecting an Italian style similar to that of the church. At the east end, there is an arcaded undercroft, and a bell turret is positioned at the crossing of the T. The United Reformed Church and the Sunday School together form a group with the nearby building at NolA Glenarm Road.
