Description

  1. CLAPTON SQUARE E5 5013 (North Side) ----------------- No 25 TQ 3485 9/123 TQ 3585 20/123 II GV

  2. Early C19 with alterations. 3 storeys, attic and basement, 2 windows. Slated mansard with dormers. Stock brick. Banded stuccoed ground floor and basement, forming voussoirs to round arched recess holding round headed window, with key block rising to 1st floor cill band. Giant angle pilasters once supported entablature, mouldings now lost. Sash windows in moulded architraves with console bracketed cornices. Prostyle Ionic porch, sides now filled, holds altered 6-panel door up 6 steps.

Nos 20 to 25 (consec) form a group with Nos 1 to 8 (consec) Clarence Place.
