Description

  1. CLAPTON SQUARE E5 5013 ----------------- Railings around Clapton Square Garden TQ 3485 19/346 TQ 3585 20/346 II GV

  2. Early C19. Stone coped low brick wall supports cast iron railings with spearhead standards and urn finials at intervals. Tall square stone-capped brick piers at ends. Running around the rest of Clapton Square similar railings rest on a low stone plinth.

The railings, Nos 7 to 19 (consec) together with No 13A form a group with No 17 Lower Clapton Road.
