Description

13A Clapton Square is an early 19th-century two-storey and basement house with two windows. The property is stuccoed and features a frieze, cornice, blocking course, and a first-floor sill band. The sash windows have been replaced, but retain glazing bars; those on the first floor have ornamental cast iron guards. A ground-floor window is round-headed and recessed within a round arch. The entrance has a six-panel door, reeded engaged columns, a mutuled cornice head, and a plain fanlight, all within a moulded architrave. The railings between numbers 7 and 19, along with 13A, form a group with number 17 Lower Clapton Road.
