Includes No 1 Lloyd's Avenue. Dated 1900. Large, corner building of Portland stone in rich, modified classical style. 3 and 4 storeys plus 2 in slated roof. Rusticated piers and entablature to ground storey with tripartite arched doorways (1 blocked) and another corniced entrance. Order of Corinthian pilasters and engaged columns through 1st and 2nd storeys. Single and paired windows with carved aprons to 2nd storey. Attic to Fenchurch Street and very elaborate stone dormers in wall face plus others set further back to long return. Pedimented south pavilion to Lloyd's Avenue with plain return of gault brick. Rear elevation to Northumberland Alley irregular and of no interest.
