Description
Nos 20 and 21 on Billiter Street, dated 1865, are a pair of buildings featuring a long Portland stone front in a modified classical style. They rise four storeys, plus a partially slated mansard roof and a basement. The façade includes segmental and round arched windows, with rusticated pilasters and a bracketed entablature at the ground level. Each entrance is adorned with rich, segmental pediments. The first floor showcases paired windows framed by columns of polished pink granite, with decorative carving in the spandrels. The buildings are topped with modest crowning cornices.
