  1. Dated 1899. By A W Cooksey (?) Modified late C17 style. Red brick and Portland stone. 3 main storeys and basement of glazed brown brick. Round arched ground floor windows. Small windows to top storey with modillion cornice and blocking. Steps to entrance set under enriched arch with balcony to window above and carving to niche above again. Small, polygonal tower to south with stone lantern and lead covered dome. Higher corner block returning into India Street with extra storey apparently added. Plain rear of gault and engineering brick with slight dressings. Large addition to north.
